Circles and Spirals
Let’s up your jewelry making game with some cool hammered and textured circles and spiral accents!
 
In 3 hours we will: 
Learn and use different hammers for texturing 
Learn or review how to make earwires
Use simple loops and wrapped loops to create dangles and movement 
Learn how to make spirals for headpins or accent elements
Explore design ideas
Use 20 and 22 gauge wire
Learn where to buy supplies
Learn how to patina and highlight your texture 
Create 3 finished pairs of earrings
 
Supplies provided: 
Copper wire and circle connectors
Tools, hammers, bench blocks
Files
Variety of glass and stone beads to choose from, may differ from pictured
 
Additional wire, connectors and beads available for purchase
 
Optional to bring your own: 
Notebook/pad and pen
Round nose pliers, nylon jaw pliers, flush cutters
Hammers (chasing hammer, nylon hammer)
Bench block
20 and 22 gauge half hard wire
Favorite beads (.85mm-1.2mm holes) 
Magnifying/Reading glasses or optivisor
