This is an introductory class to resin. Cynthia will introduce you to materials and walk you through the steps to create resin objects using molds for shapes. You will learn about different types of resin and where to use each. You'll learn to mix the resin, prep silicone molds, pour, eliminate bubbles, add color, add botanicals, de-mold and polish your resin pieces.

There will be many molds to choose from including ornaments, jewelry, keychains, vessels, barrettes and several more. You will go home with several pieces.

Please note that resin can cause problems for some people with breathing issues. For maximum ventillation, part of the class will be held outdoors in the backyard.

This class will take place 1 1/2 days, a week apart, to allow the resin time to set.

All supplies are included. Please wear old clothes or an apron.

We will take an hour break for lunch on the first day. There are restaurants nearby or bring a lunch.

Come join us for a fun day exploring resin!
