TYPE OF EVENT: 1 day workshop

INSTRUCTOR: Cynthia Jean Shue-Ashe

If you've never worked with resin before, this class is for you! Cynthia will introduce you to materials and walk you through the steps to create resin objects using silicone molds.

Learn about the different types of resin and where to use each. Learn to prep silicone molds, mix resin, pour, eliminate bubbles, add color, add botanicals, de-mold and polish your resin pieces.

Many of the molds leave a hole in the final resin piece so that a cord/chain can be threaded through it. Once your pieces are made, learn to transform some of your resin pieces into necklaces and/or barettes (optional). Other pieces can be taken home to use in other ways (key chains, ornaments or other decorative purposes).

All supplies are included. Please wear old clothes or an apron.

We will take an hour break for lunch. (Bring a lunch or leave).

Please note:

RESIN  HAS BEEN KNOWN TO CAUSE PROBLEMS FOR PEOPLE WITH BREATHING ISSUES.

Because of this, parts of this class will be held outdoors in the backyard for maximum ventillation.
