All About Headpins
Level up your jewelry making by making your own headpins! 
 
In 3 hours, we will: 
Learn how to create 5 styles of headpins from simple wire
Learn and practice how to make simple loops and wrapped loops
Learn and create earwires for your earrings
Learn simple design rules to create beautiful earrings
Learn about hammering wire
Find out how to use a small torch to create balled headpins
Create 5 finished pairs of earrings
 
 
Supplies provided: 
Copper wire and tools, hammers, and bench blocks
Files, finishing tool
A variety of glass and stone beads to choose from, which may differ from the pictured ones
 
Additional wire and beads are available for purchase
 
Optional to bring your own: 
Notebook/pad and pen
6-12” Ruler
Round nose pliers, nylon jaw pliers, flush cutters
Hammers (chasing hammer, nylon hammer)
Bench block
20-gauge half-hard wire
Favorite beads (.85mm-1.2mm holes) 
Magnifying/Reading glasses or optivisor
