SPIN WOOL INTO YARN USING DROP SPINDLE (This is a SIP & SPIN class)

TYPE OF EVENT: 1 afternoon workshop. Byob (sip & spin)
SUPPLIES: All supplies included (including a drop spindle and some fleece to take home).
In this workshop for beginners, you'll start with wool fleece and learn to spin it into yarn using a drop spindle. You'll learn the Andean plying method from Peru. You will be able to knit, crochet or weave with this yarn.
This is a "sip and spin" class, so feel free to bring your favorite beverage if you'd like to! (optional)
You will go home with a drop spindle, finished spun and plied wool and extra fleece to spin at home. (A drop spindle is a portable, simple tool. It's easy to take with you anywhere you go)!
Jand has 40 + years of experience spinning wool, cotton and dog hair!
Whatever Jane teaches, be it watercolor or spinning wool, she uses her easy step by step method approach. Jane has authored 5 "how to" books, 3 colored pencils made easy and 2 watercolor pen and ink.
Jane Wunder is new to the area, is a member of the Casa Grande Art association and plans to contribute often to the Casa Grande art community and in the area.
