Service Description

Have you noticed that the soles (treads) of some shoes have interesting designs? We will use them to stamp abstract designs into clay for ornaments! Bring one or several shoes that have a deep tread of 1/8" or deeper. Bring as many as you'd like and if you don’t have any, we will have some for you. Make 5 ornaments during the class. They will be fired in a kiln and can be picked up a week later. On pick-up day, assemble your ornaments with hanging twine or take them home to do it. Shapes can be formed by hand in any shape you’d like, or you can use the aid of templates to trace. We will have templates here or bring shapes of your own to trace onto clay (drawn or copied onto paper, or cookie cutters etc). We will have a variety of shapes including trees, stars, and candy canes. Adults (14+) Wear a paint shirt or apron All supplies included (except optional shoes)
