Service Description

This is for crafters of all levels and media who would like to learn about and create a different project each time you meet. From scrapbooking to candlemaking, this group is all about making craft projects which are led by a different participant each month. At the end of each meeting, someone volunteers to lead the next month’s project. Everyone takes a turn. This is for crafters wanting to explore a variety of different craft projects AND are willing to lead a workshop occasionally. Don't worry if you aren't an expert in any area. You are welcome to find projects or products online to lead a workshop in - its sometimes fun to experiment and learn together. Regarding supplies: Even though groups are encouraged to bring all supplies from home, it is sometimes easier and more cost effective for the workshop leader to buy necessary items for everyone (wax for candlemaking for example). If so, an estimate will be given at the time the project is decided on and attending members will give the okay for the project. This reimbursement fee will never be more than $10 unless all of the regulars agree to an exception. Participants should try to come regularly for the comraidery, to know what to bring to the following workshop, and to have a turn to lead. Registration each month is on a first come basis.
