Painting Modern Masters Impressionists

Come experience painting as the masters Vincent Van Gogh, Jackson Pollock and Robert Indiana. This is a casual, exploratory class where we will paint using these artists' techniques and styles. There will be an introduction about each artist including their history, style and technique before painting each picture. 
 
This class for those with intermediate painting skills in watercolor or acrylic. Drawing experience is also helpful. You'll go home with three paintings - one representing each artist.
 
Supplies to bring: 
Your medium of your choice - watercolor or acrylic paints
Other supplies that you need with your medium (brushes, palettes, etc.
3 papers or canvases, from 5"x8" size and up, suitable for your medium
Paint shirt/apron
 
Lila is an award winning watercolor artist, studied with David Smith at the Dayton Art Institute, formerly a member of the juried Dayton (OH) Society of Painters & Sculptors and studied pastels with Bonnie Zahn Griffith. She worked as an architectural draftsperson for 25 years.
