Create a beautiful fused glass dish in this beginner-friendly workshop at Casita Workshop! In this 3-hour class, students will design and assemble an approximately 8" fused glass dish using a variety of colorful glass pieces, frits, stringers, and embellishments. Whether you prefer abstract designs, floral inspiration, geometric patterns, or something completely unique, this class gives you the freedom to create a one-of-a-kind functional art piece. Please think about your design before class.
 
Students will learn basic fused glass techniques including glass cutting, layering, design layout, and an introduction to kiln fusing. Your finished project will be kiln-fired after class and slumped into a dish shape.
 
No experience is necessary — this class is perfect for beginners and returning glass artists alike.
