This workshop is for beginners who would like an introduction to creating candles. You will create a candle in a glass container with a wood lid, from start to finish. (A great gift for Christmas!).  
 
Cynthia will introduce you to the different types of waxes and wicks and when to use each. Learn how to to prepare and "enhance" your container, tricks to keep the wick stationary while the wax is being poured, and learn about temperature control to get the wax the correct temperature. You'll learn how to add fragrance and botanicals to your wax and learn about why certain containers are ideal for candle making and others are not. 
 
This is a great class for beginners. After this class, you will have enough information and experience to make candles on your own. 
 
All supplies are included.
 
Wax can stain, so wear paint clothes or an apron.
