This is a thorough class for beginners who want to learn the basics of watercolor. You'll learn the
"wet in wet" technique and other beginning techniques. You'll learn how to allow watercolor to do what it does best. We will review selecting watercolor paper, pigment and brushes. Brush control and pigment values as well as other tips wiill be practiced. 
 
Your finished painting will approximately 12" on its longest side. (Frame not included).
 
All supplies are included. You will use the same quality of brush, paper and paint that Edna uses and you will go home with your own set. 
 
You can take more than one level I class where you will get a great review and more practice each time.  Once you are confident you have learned these basic techniques, you'll be ready to learn more in one of Edna's Level II classes.
 
Acclaimed artist Edna Harris has many years of watercolor experience and is known for her unique watercolor collages. She enjoys sharing her experience, knowledge and passion with others.
