Create a beautiful fused glass wind chime that adds color, movement, and sparkle to your home or garden in this beginner-friendly class at Casita Workshop! In this 3-hour workshop, students will design and assemble a fused glass wind chime using colorful glass, frits, stringers, and decorative embellishments.
 
Students will create a main glass panel along with coordinating hanging chime pieces that will be kiln-fired after class. Design styles can range from abstract and floral to desert-inspired, beachy, whimsical, or seasonal themes. This class is a fun way to explore fused glass while creating a functional piece of art that catches both sunlight and breeze.
 
Students will learn basic fused glass techniques including glass cutting, layering, and design composition.
No experience is necessary — beginners are welcome!
 
Class Includes:
All glass materials and use of tools
One fused glass wind chime project
Hanging hardware, wire, and assembly materials (chain can be used for an additional cost of $5.00)
Kiln firing and finishing

Important Information:
Safety glasses are required while working with glass
Closed toed shoes are mandatory for all glass classes
Finished wind chimes will be available for pickup approximately one week after class
Final assembly instructions will be given so that you can string your windchime at home
