Painting with Acrylics and Resin
 
Join us for a creative mixed-media experience in this two-part class where you will design a unique artwork using acrylic paint and textured materials, then finish it with a beautiful resin coating.
 
Day 1: Thursday, January 28, 2027
Students will create and paint their canvas using acrylic paint along with optional mixed-media elements such as fabric, crushed glass, yarn, and other decorative materials. We will also prepare the edges of the canvas to help prevent resin over-pour during the second session. Your artwork will then need time to fully dry before applying resin.
 
Day 2: Thursday, February 4, 2027
During the second class, students will learn how to pour resin over their artwork to create a glossy, professional finish. Additional texture materials may be added at this stage if desired. The resin will then need time to cure before the project is complete. Instructions will also be provided on how to remove the protective edge covering for a clean finished look.
 
Project Pickup: Wednesday, February 10, 2027
Finished projects will be available for pickup on a third scheduled day after the resin has fully cured.
All supplies are included.
